Biography

Jan Bosveld was born in Rheden, The Netherlands, on the 5th of February 1963. After following a technical education he studied trumpet and conducting at the Conservatory in Arnhem. During his studies he made many arrangements, the majority being for wind orchestra and brass band. Presently, Jan Bosveld has written more than one hundred and sixty arrangements and forty-five compositions. In the past his compositions were published by “de Haske Music Publications” and “Gobelin Music Publications”. Now he is publishing his compositions and arrangements under his own name: janbosveld.nl

Besides composing, Jan Bosveld conducts a wind orchestra, a brass band and is very active as a guest conductor, lecturer and jury member.
